Author Synopsis

My Review

Firstly before you read this review please check out my review of the first book in the series, Cash Braddock. Personally, I think you shouldn’t start this book without reading the first in the series or it won’t flow correctly.

Cash Braddock is back and her life is as crazy as ever. Her drug dealing business isn’t what it was, with a multitude of problems – one of which is that her ex girlfriend, Laurel, is still her police handler. Laurel and Cash still have such amazing chemistry its almost palpable but can Cash ever really forgive Laurel for her betrayal and even if she did, could Laurel really break the rules to be with Cash?

This series is like nothing else I have ever read in this genre and it just keeps getting better. It’s a solid storyline that keeps me guessing as to what will happen next. Cash and Laurels emotions are highly charged and you can feel the chemistry brewing between them. I was hooked and kept praying they would just launch themselves at each other.

The book is written solely from Cash’s POV and what a point of view she has. She’s sarcastic, funny but also harbours deep feelings and is incredibly sweet.

I’m so excited about this series that I keep checking Bold Strokes Books upcoming releases to see when I can get the next fix of Cash but no date as yet for the third book.
