Twice In A Lifetime by Clare Lydon

I absolutely adored this book from start to finish.

My Review

I absolutely adored this book from start to finish. When childhood sweethearts Sally and Harriet meet again years later, old hurts and new feelings resurface. Harriet has always regretted letting the love of her life slip through her fingers but is this her opportunity to fix the hurt she once caused? With the main reason they fell apart the first time being the distance between them, will this be their undoing once more when they live miles apart? And will Sally forgive her enough to even try?

I was wanting Sally to forgive Harriet from the moment they saw each other again. When it comes to star crossed lovers, these two definitely fit the bill. The chemistry between them was hot and when they had moments of closeness and sincerity, my heart was beating out of my chest hoping these two would make it.
Clare Lydon writes some of the funniest characters in the book world but I think Aunt Paula from this book has topped the billing. Even though she is a secondary character, her personality holds her in centre stage. Every moment she graced the page I was holding back laughter and sometimes not successfully.
Another brilliant story from Clare Lydon.

5 Stars.
