And Then They Were Four by Elna Holst

Fun, romantic and steamy read.

What was the book about?
This is the fourth book in the Tinsel and Spruce Needles series. I will admit that I haven’t read the first three books in the series but if they are like this one, I will definitely purchase them. Four stories running parallel and intertwined occasionally. Erika Stoltz and Padma Lindgren are awaiting the birth of their twins. Prof. Helena Hansen is beginning to realise that her new flatmates are into something more than just wanting to share the apartment with her. Sofie Andersson aka Fiffi is still trying to come to terms with her decision to leave NYC and her Dr Hawkins behind. Finally, Fiffi and Mia’s mother Gunilla Andersson is having a sexual epiphany at fifty-one years of age.

Book Strengths
This is such a lovely book. Each individual story is sweet and sexy. Regardless of not reading the first three books the characters were easy to relate to and you are drawn into their world.

Character Chemistry
Erika and Padma are so good together, going through Padma’s pregnancy and the eventual birth, their devotion is palpable as is the strong sexual link they have together. The heat between Helena and her two housemates is off the charts! I think the character which stuck with me the most was Fiffi. She is happy for her sister Mia and her engagement but she is still pining for the love she left behind in the US.

Wrap up
If you enjoy an easy and enjoyable read, then this is the book for you. Lots of love, romance and a bit of spice especially after the hideous year of 2020!
